Xmen Origins Wolverine:I am glad I took the time to sit down and watch this movie. As the Origins title implies, this is the begining of the prequels in the phenomenal X-men series. It would be only natural to start with one of the most popular characters: Wolverine. This story brings you into the life of James Logan, whose mutant powers include killer claws that shoot out from his knuckles and a regenerative ability that allows him to live seemingly forever-taking you all the way from early childhood and flashing tastefully forward through time to the begining of the X-men saga, and the rebirth of Logan into the powerful mutant we know today.

Starring Hugh Jackman (Xmen Series, The Prestige) Liev Schrreiber ( Defiance, The Omen) this could very well be a breakthrough a role for him as this is the largest movie for him so far. Also starring in this movie are Danny Houston (30 days of night, The Kingdom) and Dominic Monaghan best known for his role on Lost. Ryan Reynolds even has a camoe appearence.

Sticking fairly close to the comic book it was derived from, this film certainly delivers a one-two punch on action and a storyline. With edgy special effects, to well rehersed choreography and styleized fighting, this movie will leave you wanting more.

I Highly reccomend this movie to anyone who is on the edge about watching it. You wont be Disappointed. After all, superhero movies have been around for decades and we all know and love them. In this day and age Hollywood is plotting even thicker to hook us as they are tying everything together. So, if you miss this one you'll be sorry because it will tie in to something else and you'll be left behind.
