Get ready for a date. Make sure your hair is done, put on your fancy garb and your dress shoes, then pick out the best spot on your couch. That's right sit down and enjoy this hilarious movie and go on a date with Steve Carell and Tina Fey. These two are comedic masters and show you just how funny they can be together on screen. Oh and don't forget your favorite snack and the popcorn.

Steve Carell (40 Year Old Virgin, Evan Almighty) and Tina Fey (Mean Girls, Baby Mama) star as Phil and Claire Foster a very ordinary couple: two kids, careers, home, living the day to day life in New Jersey. Everything about their marriage and lives are is about routine. Even having the neighborhood babysitter come every Friday night so they can go to the same steakhouse for "date night" and finish off the evening with a movie.

But when another couple they are friends with announce they are getting a divorce because they aren't happy and that they are in a rut in their relationship both Phil and Claire feel like they could be too. They realize these feelings separately and both "step it up" on their next Date Night. They decide to venture into the city for a real night out on the town. Going to one of the hot spots for dinner and realizing they wont be able to get a table they take the opportunity to assume someone's identity who had a reservation to get a table.

Unaware of the implications of their rash decision, they get mixed up with the wrong people who are looking for the actual couple that Phil and Claire are assuming to be. These men are looking for something that "this couple" is suppose to have. Welcome to the adventure! Phil and Claire are now on the run: from the bad guys, from the cops across the city on this hysterical night. Claire enlists the help of an old client (Mark Wahlberg) who has been in the P.I. business and knows a few things. Wahlberg brings even more laughs in his over the top scenes.

This night brings Phil and Clarie closer together as they find out more about eactother, learn what they are made of and most importantly re-ignites the fire in their love life. You have to watch this movie, with a pg-13 version and an extended version this movie will keep you laughing till the very end in this sidesplitting comedy adventure. I promise you wont have a date night like this one.
