For everyone who would like to know more about the "who" behind Movie Reviews and if I am a real person, the answer is yes. I am a real live person with a passion for movies, and everything about them. Let me start by saying hello, my name is Sean.

I am an Oregonian born and raised, currently living on the western foothills of Beautiful Mt. Hood. I am 26 and enjoy the full spectrum of activities Oregon has to offer. I Love to play in the snow and snowboard with my Amazing girlfriend and her wonderful son. They are the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, I couldn't do these things without her love and support. I enjoy hiking, biking, traveling, reading, I also really enjoy going to different events including festivals and the performing arts. Oregon is a great place to live.

At the age of 20 I had an opportunity to purchase a movie rental business, so I took it. It has been a life changing experience, being in business for yourself. I LOVE to meet new people and hearing what may have brought them through my door, as we are in a very tourist friendly area.

Why did I start a Movie Review Website?

Many people ask me everyday, "Hey Sean, what's a good movie to watch?" Well, that's a much more loaded question than many people think. What are you in the mood for? I always ask, that's a great place to start. Do you wanna laugh? or maybe you want to be inspired. Are you ready for a good scare? Or maybe you wanna out-wit the latest con in a good who-done-it thriller. When you answer that, I'm sure we can find you something to watch.

With six years of movie experience behind me (yes, I have even been an extra on a box office title) I started writing movie reviews for our local news paper. I had to laugh at myself, Me, a columnist? I never would have thought. But much to my surprise I started to get a following, people even coming up to me and asking what I would review next, or to tell me that they loved to read my pieces. And now with the same passion for movies, and help from a great friend who inspired me to take things to the next level I am sitting here to do just that.

Who doesn't like movies?

The answer is nobody. Everybody has a favorite, you may be a movie junkie, or the the very occasional movie watcher you still have that favorite. That movie that struck a cord somewhere deep inside you. It may be that movie that had you bursting in laughter, that movie that your whole family loved. Or maybe it was that who-done-it thriller that kept you on the edge of your seat. Action, Drama, Comedy, Sci-fi, Horror, Suspense, Family, it doesn't matter what it is we all like movies. Movies let us escape from the everyday hum-drum of life. They can take us to far away places, or help us discover what may just be in our own back yard.

I wanted a place for people to come and read my reviews, read reviews from other people, learn about cool movie trivia, or maybe find those favorite movie quotes for your favorite actors and actresses. I believe in providing great information to YOU, the reader. Giving you the same information I, your average person loves to read without all the stuff you don't. So, this is what I do.
